I download a zip file but I wasn't able to open it? What software should I install on my computer to be able to open it and how can I use that software? Thanks.

The best software for opening zip files or any other archive file is WinRAR. You can find it here https://www.rarlab.com/, and on the left you have Downloads, click it then click on WinRAR x86 (32bit) 4.11, the first one from the left. Download, install it and then you will be able to open any kind of archive types. The software is very light so don’t worry about consuming resources on your computer. This software also compresses files if you wish to send them via E-mail or any other electronic way.

To open a zip file you will need a software that can open zip file. There are a number of excellent zip utilities available, including the following: PentaZip, PicoZip, PKZip, PowerArchiver, StuffIt, WinZip and WinRAR.
Among these I think WinRAR is more easier to use. I have given here a link from where you can download the software. To install the software just double click on the exe file and follow instruction. After installation of WinRAR to open the zip file just right click on zip file and select extract here. Wish this will help you.
