there are many software program available that will allow users to create a CD or DVD from an ISO image. I recommended you to use CDBurnerXP Pro and Image Burn; both of these programs are easy to use and free. Below are the steps required for creating a CD or DVD. If you don't already have this program installed on your computer it can be found and downloaded from the CDBurnerXP Pro home page. Below are the additional steps. Open CDBurnerXP Pro. Insert a blank CD or DVD. Click the option to create a new Data-CD/RW, Data-DVD/RW, Video-DVD or create and burn an ISO image. Click File, Write Disc from ISO Image, Browse to the location of the ISO image and click the Write Disc option. Thank you.

Burning disc images is pretty much easy for those who already tried. But for those who haven’t tried it yet and doesn’t have any idea on how to actually do it, I’ll be describing how it is done. A disc image or a CD image comes in different formats depending on the software used when the image was created. Daemon Tools is an application that can do many things. It can create a virtual drive on your computer where you can mount CD images like an ISO file and will work as if you really inserted the actual CD.

It can create CD images in different formats such as MDX, ISO, and more. If you have an ISO file on your computer, burning it into an actual CD is very easy. Insert a blank CD on your CD/DVD drive. Make sure you insert the correct disc type for the ISO file. If the ISO file is a CD image, insert a blank CD-R. If the ISO file is a DVD image, use a blank DVD-R disc to burn the file. A blank CD-R may contain up to 800 MB of data and a blank DVD-R may contain up to 4 GB.

After inserting the correct blank disc on the optical drive, open the CD burning software you have. You can use Nero, Alcohol 120%, Fire Burner, Golden Hawk, WinImage, WinISO, and others. Browse the menus then select Burn Disc Image. If this command is not available in your application, select the command that does the same. Just a reminder when burning the file, don’t burn it as a “data CD” or a “data DVD”. This is totally different. This will only burn the actual ISO file on the disc and will not create a CD out of the image.
