I think that cinelerra is the best free video-editing open-source software available. It is complicated but it has very nice tools. The problem is that I have to load mpeg4 files but it never happens. It works fine on other formats. I've tried to convert mpeg4 to other formats but its quality just doesn't satisfies me. Can someone help me how to tweak/fix it?
How can I import mpeg4 into cinelerra?
Cinellerra only support some of the dual coded MPEG-4 video format. If your video is not supporting by the Cinelerra then you have to convert it into other video formation. There is no option other than this yet.
Yes converting into other format will decrease the quality of the video. But there are some very good video converter software which provides good quality video output. Even you can use online video converter as well to convert your video. Total video converter is one of the video converter which provides very good video output. You can try this software.
