Hello people!

I am having Slackware Para iPad running on my iPad. I have not had any issues with it since. What is worrying me is that lately the iPad has been restarting every time I try to switch it on. When I first experienced the problem, I left it off for several hours and when I switched it on again, it worked just fine. Now, that trick does not work. What could be the problem? Thanks.

Hi,

It seems that you have installed something in the iPad that’s not compatible with it. Try to remember what is the last thing that you download before this problem started. From what I know, installed incompatible applications are the main reason why iPads reboots on its own. You have to remove that application and try if it will resolve the problem.

Hi there Halleleilani2 ,

I got the same issue after I downloaded the Slackware Para iPad. I have rebooted my iPad several times before it turned on. Now it’s restarting on its own, it is very disappointing but one of my friends successfully got her Slackware running.

You might have installed some software in my iPad that is not compatible with iOS.
Try to recall what you have downloaded before this issue started. Usually, the main reason why iPads reboot on its own, is if we install applications that are not compatible with iPad’s operating system.

If this issue is still persistent, contact APPLE for assistance.

I hope this helps you.
