Haven't heard about registry scanners being aggressive, but I know a software that can help you with registry cleaning. It's one of the best PC cleaning utility tools available today and guess what, it's free of charge.

The interface is like this: Just select Registry on the left then Scan For Issues and then Fix Selected Issues.
Ccleaner is by far the best tool you can use to fix your registry.

You can use Advanced System care software. It is very powerful and it included several tools for the Registry. Of course it contains many more tools which you can use but since you asked for registry tools I'll concentrate more on them.

Free version is good enough for you since pro version adds a couple more tools which are not related to registry problems.
