I am using windows XP and I want to put a parental control on someone's account. How can I put timer so that he can uses computer only on my specified time

The provision of parental control is a new feature in windows 7 operating system.I am sorry to say that windows XP does not have the parental control facility with it.
If you want to still bring control on other users account in windows XP then you should download windows live family safety.
Else you should install windows 7 operating system in you PC in order to get the parental control time management on other users account.

you can either use a command or software or routers.
Command is:
"shutdown -s -t 20000"
You can also put timer by using such soft wares and routers. They are available in market. There are soft wares that I know 'FoolProof” and “CyberSitter”. By installing them you can set time and also manage to block websites of your choice. DD-WRT is one of the router that provides such service.

I am sorry to say that you cannot use parental control software on your computer because it is only available on Windows 7.
However, you have two options if you really wanted to use this.
First is installing Windows 7 as your operating system.
Lastly, you should download windows live family to help you control someone's account.
