How can an Excel spreadsheet be converted to an Access database? Also, how can an Access form be converted to a spreadsheet through the form as front for data capture? Can several users be linked to a database to allow data to flow into the database?

First of all, you will need to have the excel spreadsheet, and then you will follow the steps below:

  • Click on the External Data tab in the menu and then double-click the Excel button so as to start the Excel import process.
  • And then click on Browse and then navigate to the file that you want  to import, and then click Open.
  • In the next screen choose "Import the source data into a new table in the current database."
  • After you have selected the correct file and option, you will click the OK button to continue.
  • Click next for the screens that come next until you reach the one with 'finish'.
  • Provide the name and then finish the process.

This is a manual process to import export the data from my Access database to an Excel spreadsheet

Open a Microsoft Access and follow the instructions

  1. Click on the table or query that contains the data you want to export
  2. From the "File" menu, click "Save As/Export"
  3. Select "To an External File or Database"

Here is a screenshot below on how you do it

4.      Choose a location for your Excel spreadsheet (or double click on an existing one)

Now you have an Excel spreadsheet containing all the data from your question that you can send to any person you want to send.
