How to block a URL in chrome- Different ways.

Google chrome allow us to block certain websites. It helps in preventing us from distraction and getting occupied with unusual stuff during our work time. You can also set the timings for which you want to block websites.

Method 1-

Step 1: Visit Block Site page.

 

Step 2: Select Add to Chrome and then Add.

Step 3: Navigate to the Block Site “Settings” menu after clicking on the Block Site icon.

 

Step 4: In the field of List of blocked sites, enter the URL of the website that you want to block.

Step 5: Click on Add Page.

Method 2- Use Web Nanny.

Step 1: Go to the Web Nanny page.

Step 2: Select Add to Chrome and then Add.

Step 3: Navigate to the Web Nanny “Options” menu after clicking on the icon of Web Nanny.

Step 4: In the field labeled URLs, enter the address of website that you want to block.

Step 5: Click on Save URL.
