Hello experts,

How to block ubisoft auto update? It is very annoying in my system tray desktop for it always pop up every minute and it annoys me too much. I need your full instruction regarding this matter, I don’t want to uninstall it I just want to cancel the updates permanently. Thank you.

Without access to the internet, the ubisoft auto update will not bother you. All you have to do is to deny it internet access using windows firewall, please follow the steps below to block the program.

Click on the Start button > Go to Control Panel > Click on Security [If you are using Windows Vista or skip this step if you are a windows 7 user] > Windows Firewall > Change Settings, and click Continue if prompted for Windows Visitor Click on the Advanced tab then uncheck ubisoft auto update to deny it access to the internet.

Hi,

Check the settings. If there is any updating option, stop that thing.
Another possible way may be creating a shortcut in the desktop.
Explore and create a shortcut from the file positioned in the C drive.
This will find a way around the bothersome updating process when staring the games.
