How can I animate a person using Flash? Specifically, it is a hockey player that I want to animate. He only has to skate and shoot and that's that. Is there any simple way I can do this?Â

You can animate this fast if you are using Flash CS 5.5 but you must familiarize the previous version which is Flash CS 4 and i guess you are still a beginner, so try to use CS 4. Here are the steps to follow on how to animate using motion tween.
1. Familiarize flash environment especially the tools and symbols etc.
2. Try to create objects/symbols, you can use tween to familiarize this application to simulate movements of your character.
3. Â Apply filters to objects to create 2D, don't forget to use the brush tool for the beginners just do it simple.
4. Repeat this process to make it, familiarize and proceed to the next step which is the use of TIMELINE.
