Hello,

Well, You don't need any script to make Lotus Notes to remind or gives you alert. IBM Lotus notes already have this feature under notify tab. You simply need to check the box and set the date and time, It will reminds you on the time , Which is set by users. Alarm can be set automatically, Plus sound can be played as well

To have Notes set alarms automatically:

1. Open the Calendar.

2. From the menu, choose actions – tools – preferences.

3. Click the Calendar, To Do tab, Then the alarms tab.

4. Select the enable the display of alarm notifications option.

5. Select the Calendar entry type,Alarms created automatically by placing a check mark next to it, then enter a time.

Now , I am giving you a link from where you can learn how to use all the notify features of Lotus notes.
