The pst file is used to restore the outlook data in your mail box. One way is

Open the outlook express go to ‘File’ menu. A drop down menu will appear.  Click ‘Import And Export’. And then click ‘Import from another program or file’,  click next

click‘Personal Folder File (.pst)’ click next then give the path of the pst file to be added. In end press finish. Your pst file will take some time depending upon the size of the file.

 Another way is

Click Start > Control Panel > Mail > Data Files > Add > next

Give the path of the pst file to be added. That's it.

Hi,

It is clear from your question that you have already exported your emails from dbx to PST file format. Now you just have to import your data file in Ms Outlook. Since you have not mentioned your version of Office I cannot give exact details but you can follow same procedure to import your emails in your new machine. It is better to keep the old file in safe place as backup until you make a new working PST file backup. Many people have problem when importing data and working to new software.
