Hi,

It's easy to add restriction to your work if you're using Adobe Acrobat Professional. Just Select File from the drop down menu > Highlight and click on Properties > Highlight and click on Security > you will be able to see what are the available restrictions you can put on your work. If you want to just restrict printing and commenting, then select those two options and that's it!

Very important point to do. You can post documents for students or others to view, but not print, this is a good control over your content. I know how to help you doing this.

For commenting restriction just follow these steps:

1. Top right in Acrobat, click on the tool pane. Open the Security panel.
2. Click Restrict Editing. Confirm that you want to change the security document.
3. Enter a password and confirm it. Click OK.
4. Enter a name for the file, then click Save. You must save the document to apply the new security setting

For printing restriction, you just do this:

Go to Tools then choose the option:  Protection then Encrypt then this option: Encrypt with Password….

Once you get the window below, you are very ready to choose one of the variety of security options: you may limit the ability of printing or editing like you can see her:

Good luck.
