How to add gif photo to Facebook album? I registered an account for my Facebook yesterday and haven’t uploaded any photos yet. I want to make a profile picture with a .gif picture file extension. How will I be able to make a new album and upload a gif file photo?

Facebook does not allow animated pictures or .gif extensions to be uploaded directly to you album. However, the are some Facebook apps that allows you to post .gif pictures. To give you an example, you can search the "Animated Picture" application on the Facebook search box and run the application.
You can view links for animated pictures that you can post to your Facebook timeline or to a colleagues timeline. Please take note that not all of the animated pictures can be downloaded and uploaded. Please refer to the application instructions for additional reference.
May be you are trying to put some animated picture on facebook for social networking. I am pleased to tell you facebook supports these types of file format for photos .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png and the file you want to upload on facebook is easy to upload. You can also create album easily in albums menu in facebook and put your .gif files also there.
