 Samsung Wave uses BADA OS, which is different from Android OS. The big con is that it doesn't have Google Maps. But don't be discouraged. You can still use maps software with navigation.
 You need to install an app called GPS Status from Samsung Apps store. With that app, you can turn on your GPS. Also, you need to do this: go to Menu -> settings -> Connectivity -> Location -> Enable location services. Your phone should have "Navigation" app preinstalled. Simply launch it and select your desired destination and start navigating.
