Hi,

Yes, of course you may be able to access your yahoo mail from there without any obstacles. Simply do the same ways in exploring to yahoo as you always do!

When you open the yahoo mail of Korea, this is the website kr.yahoo.com. There would be a pop-up menu just below the URL. Indicating (This page is in Korea. Would you like to translate it?" There are two options, choose whether you want to Translate it or Not. In the search box type the topic you want to explore, it has many choices to select in English language.

Best regards,

If you’re in South Korea, you shouldn’t have any problem accessing Yahoo though they have stricter policy on internet access. But if you’re in North Korea, accessing Yahoo probably would be a big problem unless you are a foreigner. In North Korea, it is only the government and foreigners who are allowed to access the internet though they have fiber optic infrastructure.

In South Korea, Yahoo! Korea Corporation was the South Korean affiliate of Yahoo! which was founded in 1997. You can find its headquarters, the Yahoo! Tower, in Teheranno in the Gangnam district of Seoul. Unfortunately, since there were not many users, in December 31, 2012 the company announced that they will be closing down.

Though the South Korean affiliate has been pulled out, you can still be able to access your Yahoo mail because the website is freely accessible in the country. At present, Yahoo now operates by region. For Asia, all connections will be redirected to Yahoo’s Singapore headquarters.
