Regarding to your questions, installing Putty in Linux Mint has many steps.
First open the terminal on your pc.
Second type sudo apt-get install putty
Third, if you see the question “Do you want to continue?” just type Y and let the installation complete.
To access Putty on Linux Mint, just go to the Menu then click the internet button then click the SSH client. If a new window will appear click the save button. Don’t forget to put the IP address of the remote host then save it. And let the installation complete.
