Hi friends,

I have a Nokia N72 Mobile phone. I stored my contents in my computer using a content copier tool. Now I want to access content copier file to restore my contacts and have access to them. I don’t know how I can do this without using my Nokia N72. Anxiously waiting for a positive response, as I need to access my contacts very urgently.

Thanks

Hi there,

Mobile backup files are quite messy and not really readable outside the phone, so you'll most likely need some third party software to extract the contacts and make them usable without the mobile phone.

You can always try opening the files in the notepad and search for the things you need, but if you are looking for more than one contact it will take you plenty of time until you find what you are looking for.

I'd suggest you to use Nokia NbuExplorer to extract your files. It is a free utility that will make your mobile backup files readable on the PC.
