Hi,

I my network We are using esx 4.0 for virtualization.We have a windows VM.Widows guests fails with:STOP 0X77 KERNAL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR.Please help me.

Hey Rexwald!

This error can be the reason of disk performance. This error can be avoided by the following options. Make sure that you have properly check all the options.

1. Run defragment tool to optimize your drive.

2. Make sure that you have remove or reduce the snapshots.

3. You have to use such VMDK disks which are ungrowable.

4. Check you hardware properly and make sure it is working fine as you expect it to work.

5. You have to avoid disk encryption must be because it reduces the disk performance.

6. With the help of more host memory you can edit VM settings which will help you to reduce the IO usage.

7. Make sure that you are using separate hard disks for virtual and physical usage.
