While I am trying to patch hitmanpro I am getting this error message that it cannot open file.
Can anyone tell why I am getting this message?

Whenever you patch make sure you close the application. May be you are getting this error because you try to patch while “hitmanpro35.exe” is already opened. Make sure this file is closed and try to patch. If this doesn’t work then uninstall it and install it again. Now close the application and copy the patch file into “C:program fileshitman pro 3.5” where the main file exists. Delete the main file during copy. You should also extract "HitmanPro.lic" and save it to "C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersHitmanPro". Hope it’ll work.

You cannot patch when pro is opened, if closing the program cannot solve the problem try hitting CTRL+ ALT+DEL , and end the "hitmanpro.exe" process. If still it does not work , try checking startup and look for applications conflicting with the file. And also try checking your antivirus, as some antivirus scan files when they are accessed, therefore resulting to this issue. Good luck!
