Why the hibernate button on windows 7 can be lost when I did not do weird things, how to restored it?

If You wan to enable hibernate in your windows 7, just follow bellows method :

At First Open a Elevated Command Prompt.

Then the elevated command prompt, type powercfg -h on and press Enter. (see screenshot below)

Now  Close the elevated command prompt.

You can solve your problem in two ways.

  1. You can use Powercfg to enable hibernation.

    • Go to Run and type Powercfg /?
    • Then in the command window, type in “Powercfg  -h on”
    • This command will turn on the hibernate button.
    • You can disable the hibernate button by typing “Powercfg –h off” in the command window.
  2. You can check by going to Start >Control Panel> Power Options. From there you will get the Shutdown button and Hibernate option.
