I am using Samsung Galaxy ace and I am trying to unlock galaxy ace app download. I am not sure if I am following an obsolete unlocking procedure, but one thing is for sure, the method I followed won’t work. Well, I am trying to execute the procedure but I got an error which says I need to get my phone rooted before I can actually perform the procedure. The question is, how can I have my phone rooted?

Connect the phone to your computer and copy the downloaded zip file into your SD card.

Turn off your phone.

Hold the home button and then press the power button to boot your phone in recovery mode. When phone starts let go the power button.

After the logo fades out, you should enter recovery mode and you should let go the home button.

There will appear an option window. Scroll to the second option using volume down/up button and press home button to select.

Now select the copiedzip file from the SD card.

After it installs the files, select the "Reboot" option and wait for it to restart.
This way you can root your Galaxy ace and start downloading apps.
