Why is my computer finding it difficult to connect to the peer to peer (P2P) file sharing network? I set up some computers in peer to peer file sharing network but my computer is not accessing the shared resources. Although other computers on the network can access the shared resources except my computer. Also, how can I set up instant messaging on the network?

Hello Macro P Hamm,

Check your router setting. If there is mismatch in router setting then change your router settings to either turn off or alter firewall/NAT. Change your router settings to port forward the following ports

1. Port 88 (UDP)
2. Port 80 (TCP)
3. Port 3074 & 53 (UDP and TCP)
Both sides attempt to connect to each other simultaneously – in case one side can't accept incoming connections.
