Help needed for power director resolution avi dv when editing video

Hi all,

I am using pwer director 8 for editing my videos. I am facing a problem in production where Power director stretch the resultant video into 720 x 480, I can see any option that would change the settings, and Power director resolution avi dv has nothing to do with it, right?

Where am I going wrong? Can you guess what I am missing here?

Hello Miguel

To change the output resolution to other format, you have to change profile for the power director. You have to create new profile and enter the desired resolution.

At the following location of your hard drive, you can create and edit profiles
Program Files>Cyberlink>Power Director>Language>ENU(English)>Profiles

Here is the link of a short video which will help you in creating new profile for Power Director
https://www.youtube.com/user/PDtoots

There are several other video editing tools that may help you in changing resolution. Some of them are-
VirtuaDub, VirtuaDubMod, AviSynth.

Hope this would help
Thanks
Bennie
