why is my printer not working with IEEE cable when the printer manual said the printer can uses IEEE cable? I have just purchase a new printer and the printers manual say that the printer uses IEEE cable, but when I connect the IEEE cable to the printer, it is not working. How can I fix this problem?

Helo Aabel!

You may apply following steps to resolve this problem and set up all correctly. You have to check the parallel connection on the IEEE cable, because it connects directly onto the printer and not the end of the old cable. This could be important if a long cable is necessary as the new cable is less than a meter short. Connect the USB cable to a powered USB hub. Load the programs(drivers) from the disk provided and then add your printer in the Control Panel using the USB option.
