I have MS Office 10 installed on my pc and it´s been working great. However, today all of that changed and now I keep on getting the following message "Internet connection was lost. Check connection and try again". My connection is fine so I have no idea why is happening, please help.

I think you have installed Microsoft Office Click-to-Run and it is recommended for users on broadband connections above 1 Mbps. You have a problem downloading some files that are necessary to run Microsoft Office Click-to-Run.
Click-to-Run wants a Internet access for accurate function.

You have two options to solve this problem.
1. If you need to work with Microsoft Office 2010 on a PC without Internet access, uninstall your Click-To-Run 2010 and shift to regular MSI-based Microsoft Office edition as a replacement. For more details.
2. You can try to update/repair your Microsoft Office Click-To-Run 2010 to fix the problem and continue working with it.
