Help me with Flash media server

Good day!

I am not familiar with Flash media server and I am interested in how it is used. Who has knowledge on Flash Media Server 3.5.3 set up on Windows Server 2008 R2? I set up FMS (Flash Media Server) on Windows Server 2008 R2; however the admin console won’t run. I set up Flash Media Server on a Windows Server 2003 32-bit computer. And it is possible to run admin console on Server 2003 and connect to the Server 2008 R2 set up. There is a separate hard drive for media to be streamed through Flash Media Server. How will I set up Flash Media Server to have that drive as root for media file as an alternative to "c:program files (x86)…webrootvod"

Please guide me….

Thank you…

Hallo Cartney,

The problem why the flash media server you have installed on your computer system is not working could be because you have installed it in the wrong directory path in the programs files, and therefore just check that and rectify if you had stored the applications files in a wrong folder.

Another thing that you should check is if you are using the right version of flash media server on your computer. Since you are using a Windows Server 32 bit, then you should ensure that the flash media server is a 32 bit too, because if you use a 64 bit then it will not work.

Hope this helps.
