Previously I had Linux installed along with Windows 7, now I’m using just Windows 7. Problem is I want to restore Master Boot Record for Windows 7 to its default settings now. Does anybody knows how to clear mbr win7?
Help me to clear mbr win7 to default?
Very simple way is to clear your MBR or what we call a Master Boot Record is to software like fdisk. Burned it to DVD and run it. You can download it from bootdisk.com. Another way I know is to download Daricks Boot and Nuke or DBAN iso file. Burned it to DVD, boot it and enter autonuke at the prompt. Another software is called the gdisk which is you can boot on flash drive. There is lots of other software that you can use to clear your MBR. All I provided was software that I usually used whenever I doing that process. It is your choice what software you want to use.
