It all started yesterday. When I came from school and booted my Dell Optiplex Desktop computer, it booted as always but I couldn't not use my mouse or keyboard. I tried restarting but it couldn't help. I tried another mouse and keyboard but they wouldn't work either.

When you mentioned that your mouse and keyboard just suddenly stopped working, you also stated that you already tried another set of mouse and keyboard but the issue persists. Are you by any chance using USB ports for those peripherals? Have you tried them on other ports? If these peripherals worked on another port, then there is a possibility that the previous ports you were using are now defective. If the issue persist using different port, try them on another computer. If they worked on a different computer (both your old mouse and keyboard, and the ones you tried later on), then you may have to bring your system to a local technician to check all the ports and see if they needed to be repaired or changed.
