Help on entering user password prompt me to restart

When I start my computer and prompt me to the user log in page, I entered my password correctly. Normally, after doing this, it will lead me to my windows desktop. But this time my computer restarted after typing my password then goes to the windows advanced boot options where I need to select from safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt and the rest. Below is to start windows normally.

When I choose the last option it will boot then on the log in page, same thing will happen again. When choosing safe mode, I can run the windows normally. But I cannot run any anti virus to scan for possible viruses. If I disable the log in page on safe mode boot, and restart to my normal window, the log in page is still there. I don't receive any errors on my windows. I open my BIOS to restore it from default setting but the problem is still there. I am really lost. Please if someone here knows how to fix it, let me know. I heard about a password virus but if ever my system is infected, how can I scan for it and remove it from my computer. I am using Windows 7.

Please send me some help.

Hi Darryl,

I think I find solution to your problem. I hope this will work.

Just start your computer when it prompt you to the user in log-in page just entered your password correctly. And you said it will lead you to the windows advance boot options. Select the safe mode and wait until the computer display the desktop.

Then press F1 in the desktop and help and support windows will display. Choose undo changes of your computer with system restore in the Pick a Task option.

Select a anti-date in which your computer is running prior to the error. Maybe two days ago. But your files will be deleted after the date you've selected.

You cannot run any system routine when you are in safe mode such as printing, LAN, scanning, etc.

Hi! Thanks for the help. This one won't just work. So I used the Windows 7 CD and repair my system. So now that problem has been fixed.
