Hallo Nimrod,

If a Windows Media Player cannot be able to play the files on the BluRay Disc, it is because they are not in a format that is not supported, or it could be possible that the Windows Media Player Codecs are out of date.

To resolve the issue you will need to do the following:

Solution 1:

You will need to update the Windows Media Player Codecs as follows:

  • First of all open Windows Media Player.
  • And then right click on the Menu Bar and the click on Help > Check for updates.
  • Make sure that you have internet access to your computer so that Windows Media Player will download updated codecs and install them.

Solution 2:

You can as well use an alternative media player application.

  • There are some third party media player applications that can work pretty well.
  • For instance, the VLC media player, KMplayer and the MPCstar.
  • All these are free so you can just download them from the internet.

Regards,

Carl
