I use an Acer Aspire 5551-2450. But My problem is sometimes my microphone just boosts and makes unbearable sounds screeching. I then turn the volume down for sometime. So if you have any better solution then please help me in this mic boost for acer.

To solve the issue you need to take 2-3 things into considerations :
1. Your microphone is not placed in front of the speaker, if that is the case then it is causing due to feedback.
2. Use proper software for background noise reduction, you can use software from the Realtek HD audio manager.
3. Try to update your audio driver, this may be the cause of the issue.

Hello Penelope, chances are your microphone is either too close to your face or broken. Another possibility is that there is something causing interference with your microphone. A computer speaker nearby could do this. You should test your microphone to see if is broken. You could also update your audio drivers by downloading them from the manufacturer's website.
