The 3-D chips are very essential for the technology nowadays. It is powerful since it keeps a signal on-chip that can reduce its power consumption by 10-100 times. It is also has a shorter wires that reduces power consumption by producing less parasitic capacitance. So when you say we reduce the power budget it will lead to less heat generation, lower cost of operation and longer batter life. As technology continuous to grow, inventors are coming up more and more how they could build a much advanced technology which could give satisfaction to the customers whether it is for smartphones, laptop, computers, gadgets or anything that uses technology.
