Hello everybody,

I am having iPad mini and it is working fine.

The only problem is that when I connect the headphones to it, I am not able to hear anything and it is getting stuck. I have restarted several times, but no use. I have used my friend’s headphones to check whether its problem with headphones. But, still no luck. It means that there is no problem with my headphones. I have the latest iOS 7.1.2.

I am not sure what is the problem here. Can somebody help me out here, please? Thanks in advance for any help.

This is a common problem with the iPad mini. It does not mean that your headphones have an issue. To solve this problem, you need to resent the iPad. This can be done by holding the home or the wake button simultaneously until when the Apple logo will appear. As you do that, you should have the audio jack on.

The speaker does not turn off when the headphones are plugged in. This has happened to me on every 5th generation Nano i'Ve tried. The solution for me just plugged the Nano into the computer, let it install a iTunes and do a sync, and then disconnect it properly. The speaker will go off, and the headphones should work right again
