I have recently bought a new PS4 and when I tried connecting my monitor with the PS4 then nothing happens not even sound and nothing shows up on the screen. I have tried replacing the wire with the latest bought one but the problem is same. Is it my monitor's port problem or my brand new PS4 is a defective piece? Please help me with this problem I want to use my PS4 without any issues.

In connecting your PS4 with your HDTV make it sure that it is properly connected to HDMI port. Change the input settings by pushing “Input” button and selecting “HDMI/DVI” or simply “HDMI” channel input only. If this doesn’t work with your TV even you’re are surely in the proper channel input better yet to bring your PS4 to the retail outlet where you bought it. Ask them to perform trials and test connecting it to HDTV. If it will work with their HDTV, considering your TV do have some minor defects. Replacing the entire TV is not a proper and best idea. To consider, there are other ports that we can use to connect your PS 4. Checking HDMI fury or HDMI converter and using component cables or RCA cables (R-Y-W).
