Having problems rendering Add-In for Revit 2012 installation. Any help?

Hello,

I downloaded the Add-In for Revit 2012 from the site "http://rendering.360.autodesk.com/ste….".

I get the error shown in the snapshot as I run the installer.

 

Autodesk Revit 2012 Cloud Rending:

The add-in requires that all installed copies of Revit 2012 be upgraded to Update Release 2 or later. Please make sure all Revit installations are updated to the latest release. Visit Autodesk Cloud rendering online to download and install the latest version of this add-in.

Please help me to solve this.

The error indicates that you need to upgrade your revit copy of the software in order to use the add in for it. For doing it use the following process.

  1. Go to the developer or the company website. See which the latest version is.
  2. After that, either download the latest version or go to the updates tab or menu.
  3. From there, choose which version you have and see what new updates are available for you.
  4. Download all the updates that you have not installed and downloaded.
  5. After that, restart your computer and launch the application again.
  6. You can now use the add in successfully and after its installation, a reboot is always good to have.
