Good day!

HI, I am working with outlook 2010 and I can’t find the send/receive check box. I have tried looking for it on the ribbon but I can’t find it. I want to check the registry key for offline download of address book.
Someone kindly advice where I can get this registry key.

Thank you…

The ways to check registry key for offline download is to go to the registry of the operating system. Do the following steps listed below to check the registry for offline download.

Go to Start button and click StartSearch
Type regedit and click on OK button
Then look for the following

For Outlook 2003
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice11.0Outlook

For Outlook 2007
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice12.0Outlook

For Outlook 2010
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice14.0Outlook

Then go to the Edit menu and point the cursor to New and then click on the Key
Type Cached Mode then go to Edit Menu
Point the cursor to New and you need to click on DWORD Value
You need to type Download OAB then push OK
On the right pane, right click on Download OAB then you have to Modify
On the Edit DWORD Value dialog box, you need to type the value you want then you have to click OK
Then exit the Registry menu
