The metro apps can’t work on windows.
The logo screen displays then disappears.
Could it be the video driver?

If your metro applications cannot work on windows then it is possible that it could be that the video driver you are using does not offer support for those applications and therefore you may need to review and find out which drivers work well with the metro applications and then download them and install them.
Another possible cause for the drivers to refuse to work will be because of compatibility issues. May be the metro applications are not meant to be used on the particular version of windows you are using; therefore you will need to download the right applications that are supported by the version of windows that you are using.
