While using window vista a major problem that many people encounter is about installing the HP PSC1315 software, the error appears on the screen as “system requirements results” and then appears a message that the software can not be installed using Run command. Can some one solve this problem? What should be done to meet the requirement?

I guess you downloaded the incorrect version of the driver for your HP printer that’s why you are getting the “system requirements results” screen. To download the correct driver for your printer, visit HP PSC 1315 All-in-One Printer. Under “Select or confirm your operating system and click Next”, select your operating system from the dropdown list and then click Next. See image.

Since your computer is running on Microsoft Windows Vista, select Windows Vista from the list but make sure you select the correct architecture. If you are using Windows Vista 32-bit, select Windows Vista 32-bit. If you are using a 64-bit Windows Vista, select Windows Vista 64-bit. If you don’t know the architecture of your operating system, right-click My Computer on your desktop then select Properties.

In General tab under System, you should see “64-bit” displayed among the texts. This means you are using a 64-bit operating system or you are using Windows Vista 64-bit. But if you don’t see it that means your operating system is 32-bit or you have Windows Vista 32-bit.
