Hi user

Did you notice some difference in your computer recently. Did the fans run slower than they are supposed to run causing your CPU to overheat which results in the computer hanging. When you turn on the power button of computer do you have to wait some time before any display appears. These all mean that your power supply is not functioning well. Dust and corrosion could be the main causes.

Power supply is like the one supplying fuel for your computer to work. It maintains a correct voltage for all your motherboard components, this helps them function properly . So do invest in a new power supply.

Did you upgrade any component of your computer recently? If yes, your PSU might be overloaded because the upgraded component is probably consuming more power than the PSU can provide. If not, it is possible that your PSU is failing. Either way, your PSU needs replacement. Stop connecting any devices to your computer or just stop turning on your computer until you get a replacement for the PSU  because a failing PSU can fry anything . It is also possible that your slave hard drive was fried already that's why your computer does not turn on whenever you plug it in.
