Siaras is a new company which is centered on putting together WANs or Wide Area Networks with clouds. It has the cloudScape platform which is aiming at service providers that will allow them to sell WAN on demand as a service. Enterprises are boosting control over numerous clouds in their deployments.

But the problem is clouds don’t easily communicate with each other which make WAN provisioning a bigger job. WAN needs long term contracts and a little longer to setup while cloud is available or accessible on demand. The company thinks that the network service providers are in the position to deal with this by providing or giving what the company calls “WAN-aware cloud”.

cloudScape assists network service providers arrange WAN among clouds. cloudScape is a proprietary platform that is based on OpenStack. It expands network control capacities.
