HA server 8888 software runtime error

Hello,

I am a new user of HA server 8888 software. I need some guidance please. Whenever i try to open the HA server 8888 software, i see the following error on my screen

 "run time error '8005': and port already open"
For serial communication I have been using the Serial terminal software.
I am not able to understand this situation. If any experienced users of this server have any solution,
please let me know as soon as possible.

I will provide you a little help on this.

First of all, try altering the TCP port from 8888 to another port number and repeat.  Not forgotten, please ensure that your PC is not executing complex instance of HA server. If so, exit  the other instance before you proceed to HA server executions. To change the TCP port, please open HA server and click setup button. Afterwards, key-in your password . Now you will notice the settings and you can change the port.

Once you are done, try connecting your hardware to COM port . Please activate the hardware and you must be able to view the welcome message.  Press enter on your keyboard for several times (2-3 times) .Then,  please confirm that the welcome message is prompted back.  However, if you obtain trash data again, my final  advice is you need to do a critical analysis of your hardware.
