Hi people, I currently have an old computer a Dell XPS 410 and am not looking to spend $3000 on a gaming computer. I am currently looking for a good graphics card to run games like; American Truck Simulator, Xplane 10 and Assetto Corsa. My computer specs are windows 8.1 Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, 2400.0 MHz driver size is 640GB with 4GB RAM. I would appreciate anyone with knowledge on this matter to help me out, thank you in advance.

If you don’t want to purchase a new gaming computer, you can simply upgrade your system to make it a lot faster. If you want to upgrade your graphics adapter for gaming purposes, a graphics adapter with 128 MB video RAM is already small. With Windows 8.1, I guess it would be better if you will purchase a video card with 1 GB video RAM or higher.
Also, you should check the games that you want to install on your computer. If you want to play American Truck Simulator, I’m not sure if that’s going to work on your computer. The PC game American Truck Simulator supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. Windows 8 and higher are not supported.
Your processor is pretty much above the required processor speed that’s why it shouldn’t have a problem. The video card is required to have at least 256 MB video RAM minimum and the recommended is 1 GB video RAM. You also have plenty of physical memory to support the game.
