Got an error while using Quick Media Converter

Hi,

I downloaded and installed Quick Media Converter (QMC) to my Win 7 PC, and it was successful.

However when I tried using it, I got this error message.

C:UsersSteveAppDataRoamingCocoonSoftwareQMCQMC.exe

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you’re running. Check your computer’s system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

It worked before with my Win Vista.  Hope you can help me in getting rid of this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Bgaring,

The problem as to why the quick media converter is not working properly and giving you the error as you have indicated is because it is not compatible with the windows 7 operating system version that you are using.

You will need to check the system specifications for windows 7, and you can do that by right clicking on My Computer and then choosing system properties. Check whether the operating system is a 64 bit or a 32 bit version and then search for the right quick media application, download it and install it.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Try to check the software if there an infected files or data and then just simply check the software if its compatible to the operating system or windows and then just simply scan the system if there application or files is infected an viruses or maybe an spyware to your machine just check on that if it’s possible to avoid anything error and then try uninstall the software then after that try to reinstall again and then restart your computer to be safe only and then simply download the new release version for the software if it’s possible just try that.
