Hi Experts,
The installation of Adobe Fireworks went fine but when I tried opening it, I got this error message.Â
Fireworks
Your user privileges do not allow Fireworks to update your registry. Launch and Edit with Dreamweaver will not work properly until Fireworks is launched while using Administrative privileges.
I was a newbie so I didn’t know yet how to set the Administrative privileges.Â
Can someone help and guide me with the setting?Â

Got an error when starting Adobe Fireworks right after installation
The adobe fireworks application that you are running needs to run the updater, which will download and install new registry entries and that action need that you be logged in with the administrator account.
In your case, it is possible that you are logged in with an account that does not have the administrative privileges to enable you to run the update.
Therefore you will need to switch to an account that has administrative privileges.

On your computer click on start.

Expand the box under shut down, and then choose switch user.

The computer will switch to a new account, and there log in with the account that has the administrative privileges.
