What are these ChromeOS and Google's "first ChromeBox" all about? Are these for desktop only or for tablets as well? May I know if these are true releases and if they are also free to use.

The Google chromatic laptop is a Mac style chrome box and features chrome operating system. The Chrome operating system is an enhancement of the popular Google Chrome web browser.
Chrome Operating System
The chrome box is a thin device that can be plugged into any monitor and keyboard, and this can be used to access any applications that are found on the internet.

The limitation is that you will need a monitor to work with a chrome box and hence cannot be used like a laptop, while you are traveling.

This device is more similar to a home theater setting than a laptop, and hence the market is mainly based on home users.

Currently the ChromeOS is only available for desktops. The success of ChromeOS was greatly reduced by the advent of tablet era, but there is news that ChromeOS will be available in tablets also.

Chrome box has been released and is available for purchase at amazon.com and various other dealers.
