I have a Google Excel sheet. I need this document for offline use but when I downloaded it, it opened on protected mode.
Is there any option to edit this document in my local PC.
 I am using office 2010.

Google Excel sheet edit problem in Microsoft Office
Good day Barkley,
You cannot seem to edit document Google Excel sheet, huh? I have experienced similar issue like this before. I'll give you a tip on how to fix this.
Here are some steps that you need to do:

Protected mode has to be disabled

Open Microsoft Office 2011, Go to File Menu and Click Options

Trust Center has to be selected in the left panel of the screen

A dialog box will appear, click disable protected mode in the left screen

Disabled Protected view has to be disabled of failed to validate if downloaded from the Internet because this might be an attachment file or in an unknown location.

Click OK, close Microsoft Office 2010 then manually uncheck the options in other applications.Â
