Greeting my fellows!
I want to know the reason why this error message appears again and again when I tried to open Google Chrome explorer. I have explorer installed in my laptop. Let me tell you what went wrong. I read my Yahoo mails. One of the mails had an attachment. When I downloaded that attachment, it was a document.
I scanned it. Antivirus didn’t find it harmful,so I just double clicked it to open. As soon as I did that, the file disappeared and all my applications shutdown, and my laptop restarted.
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application.
After restarting, I received one error and one notification. Error was the same as you see in the image. The other error was that your PC has been effected by MALWARE virus.
Now, I am unable to clean my laptop from that virus. I also unable to use Chrome to browse because if I run it, I would receive the same error again.
So, please someone tell me how to get rid of that virus, and how to get this Chrome application error resolved.
Thanks.
Google Chrome.exe Application Error Failed To Initialize
First, your computer is affected by virus. Second, your Google Chrome is outdated. Updated Google Chrome can patch this issue. Updating your antivirus is also important. This virus affects not only Google Chrome but other browsers as well.
Things to do:
-
Update your antivirus.
-
After updating your antivirus, fully scan your computer.
-
Uninstall your Google Chrome.
-
Download a Registry Cleaner (for safety and to clean your registry. The virus might corrupt some installation files because of the virus or the outdated installation of your Google Chrome).
-
Install the Registry Cleaner you have chosen.
-
Download Google Chrome (the latest version).
-
Install Google Chrome
