Good Alternative to MS Office

I don't have Microsoft Office installed at home; however, I wanted to install an application that is helpful to edit word documents and/or doing a PowerPoint presentation for my project without paying too much money. Is it good to use the Libre Office or Kingsoft Office as an alternative to Microsoft Office?

Good Alternative to MS Office

There are many alternatives for Microsoft office like Free Office (windows/Linux), Open Office (Windows/Mac/Linux), LibreOffice (Windows/Mac/Linux), Kingsoft (windows/Linux) etc.. All of them are free. Most of that software is good for documents or presentation, but Libreoffice is best choice. It has powerful word processor and spreadsheet. It has attractive graphics and presentation. So, it is a good option to go with Librefoffice as a back-up to Microsoft Office.
