I am having problem with my GOM Player when I try to play some videos.

The problem can be a number of different reasons such as the video you are trying to play can be corrupted or it's missing a few frames in the video file which can also cause stability issues. It could also be that the format of that particular video is not supported.
I would rather recommend you use VLC player. It is free and very stable. You also do not need to install any additional codec packs to play the videos. It has a lot of features and can play some video files that are corrupted and has the ability to repair most of them.
